About the event
Enterprising Ventures of Color (EVC) invites you to participate in a five-part national nonprofit speaker series where we will have prominent nonprofit leaders from across the country who have created innovative solutions and cutting-edge best practices to transform their communities. These nonprofit organizational experts will provide critical insights for increased positive social impact that contribute to their 501(c)3 success. Discussion topics will include emergent revenue generation techniques (individual donor campaigns, state and federal contracts), strategic, effective communication practices (social and paid media), power-building techniques, managing complex boards, and self-care management tips.
Join us for a fireside chat to learn how Cat Goughnour strengthened community-based organizations’ ability to leverage resources as power brokers and change agents across 15 cities, and 13 States, leveraging over 6 million dollars in capital to effectively advocate for systems change, an essential step towards racial economic equity.
Participation is free, but advanced registration is required—so register today!
This Tuesday Lunch and Learn Speaker Series is made possible through the Greater Flint Coronavirus Taskforce on Racial Inequities’ Philanthropic Subcommittee: The Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Ruth Mott Foundation, and the United Way of Genesee County.
